Jay-Z & Kanye West: "No Church in the Wild ft. Frank Ocean" (Music Video)

Jay-Z and Kanye unexpectedly release yet another video from last year's Watch the Throne. This video was directed by Romain Gavras, best known for M.I.A.'s videos for "Bad Girls" and "Born Free," but also my personal favorite, Justice's "Stress."

Jay-Z & Kanye West: "Niggas In Paris" (Music Video)

I saw Jay and Ye perform at the United Center in Chicago in December last year when they performed this song 10 times in a row or something like that. I wasn't anywhere near the stage, but I'm pretty sure the crowd was not exclusively comprised of models like in this video. Though I do like how they made this video a semi-tribute to their epic — if overly opulent — live show.

Also, proceed with caution if you have epilepsy, the kaleidoscope/flashing lights effect is turned up to the max.

Jay-Z & Kanye West: "Otis" (Music Video)

Watch the Throne is in stores now. Well, at least Best Buy and the iTunes store. If you haven't purchased it already, you should wait and buy it at your local record store.

Jay-Z & Kanye West: "Otis" (Music Video Teaser)

The full video, directed by Spike Jonze, will air on MTV tomorrow evening. What do you think of Watch the Throne? I'd love to read your opinions in the comments section.

Jay-Z & Kanye West: "Otis"

"Otis" is the new Watch The Throne single inspired from the work of my favorite singer of all time. The two superstars trade bars over a sample from "Try A Little Tenderness." It sounds so soulful, don't you agree? Stream this YouTube link below while it lasts, or head over to Jay-Z's Life + Times website to check it out.

Kanye West & G.O.O.D. Music at SXSW 2011 (Videos)

Kanye and his crew closed out SXSW 2011 in Austin, Texas by throwing a surprise concert in an abandoned power plant. It was a fairly exclusive event, in that thousands of people tried desperately to get in, but only a fortunate portion of those people got admitted to the show. Back during SXSW Kanye still hadn't performed much since releasing MBDTF, making the show an extra hot ticket. Months later, Vevo, who sponsored the show, released some hi-def video from the show.

Above is Kanye's "Dark Fantasy." Below is Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness”, Big Sean’s “My Last”, followed by more Kanye with “Blame Game” (one of the few times he's ever performed it thus far), and surprise guest Jay-Z joining in the show-closer, “H.A.M.”

Kanye West: "Monster ft. Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, & Bon Iver" (Music Video)

The rough cut of this video leaked back in December. Months later, Kanye finally released the official version via his website. Sadly, this one still doesn't feature Justin Vernon holding any decapitated body parts.

Kanye West & Jay-Z: "H.A.M."

Lead single from Kanye West & Jay-Z's collaborative project Watch The Throne, which apparently has an early March release date.

Kanye West: "Monster ft. Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, & Bon Iver" (Music Video - Rough Cut)

This is what appears to be the rough cut of Kanye's truly strange music video for "Monster". It features zombified and/or decapitated models, a sharply-dressed Jay-Z, not one but two of a rather psychotic-looking Nicki Minaj, and quite a bit more. I was hoping to see Justin Vernon make an appearance at the end for some unintentional comedy, but alas, he apparently couldn't make the video shoot. See it for yourself. Props to NYMag.

Update: As expected, though quicker than I saw coming, the YouTube video has already been blocked. Sorry! If you didn't catch it, you'll have to take my word for it, until the finished product gets released.

Update 2: I found a new YouTube link which works, but this will probably be the last one I re-post up, in the case of it getting shut down again.

Kanye West: "So Appalled ft. Jay-Z, RZA, Pusha T, Swizz Beatz, & Cyhi The Prynce"

Happy GOOD Friday!

This week, Kanye hit us with a track that had been floating around the Internet for quite a while in its unfinished version. With some additions from Jay-Z, Pusha T, RZA and others, this new version is drastically expanded, in length and content. Perhaps it will be on the Kanye x Jay collaboration EP Watch The Throne.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I had a busy week.

Jay-Z & Eminem: "Renegade" (Live)

Apparently this is a promo video for the upcoming DJ Hero video game. All-time classic track. Good look nation.

Jay-Z: "Run This Town ft. Kanye West & Rihanna"

The first official single to The Blueprint 3, which is scheduled for a September 11 release date. Kanye West spits the song's third verse, plus he handled the production.

Jay-Z: "D.O.A. (Death of Autotune)" (Video)

Kanye and No ID on the boards, handling bidness. Tons of cameos in this one — keep your eyes peeled.

Jay-Z: "Death of Autotune" (Prod. No I.D.) (CDQ)

I'm posting again because I spotted the CD-quality version of Jigga's new track at Andrew's spot — the man's got a connect somewhere. He also claims that No I.D. is actually the only producer on the track, not him and Kanye. I also read that this is just a street single — the song will be reworked for the Blueprint 3 version.

Jay-Z: "Death of Autotune" (Prod. Kanye West & No I.D.)

The song of the day finally makes its way to the internet. Jay's newest track, presumably from his upcoming Blueprint 3, was just played on Hot97 just moments ago, and EVERYONE came through with a radio rip. Even though it's a Hov song, I figure if Kanye and No I.D. produce a song together, then it merits a post on Midwest Broadcast.

Update: Love the song. Hov is good but not great, beat is spectacular. The only thing I don't get is how Jigga can shout out Funk Flex, Mr. Cee, and Hot 97 so many times in one song and it can still be an album track. We'll see if this version makes the album. All I know if this beat is insane. Kanye and No I.D. producing an entire album together > (insert anything here).
