Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T & 2 Chainz: "Mercy" (Music Video)

Here is the video for "Mercy," the first single to the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music crew album, supposedly titled Cruel Summer, and one of the first high profile crew albums I've been excited for in quite some time.

Chief Keef: "I Don't Like (Remix) ft. Kanye West, Pusha T, Jadakiss & Big Sean"

On Tuesday night Kanye released the G.O.O.D. Music remix to young Chicago upstart Chief Keef's song "I Don't Like." I understand that in Internet time, that means this post is light years too late, but I'm sharing it anyway because I'm happy to see the G.O.O.D. Friday releases continue (even if the song came on a Tuesday). Download or listen to the song at Kanye's website, or stream it below.

Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T & 2 Chainz: "Mercy"

I'm tardy to the party, my apologies. If you don't know already, "Mercy" is the first single to the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music album. This track features Kanye, Big Sean, Pusha T, and 2 Chainz. Other guests rumored to be on the album include Jay Electronica and Frank Ocean. Stream "Mercy" below or purchase it via iTunes.

Kanye West & G.O.O.D. Music at SXSW 2011 (Videos)

Kanye and his crew closed out SXSW 2011 in Austin, Texas by throwing a surprise concert in an abandoned power plant. It was a fairly exclusive event, in that thousands of people tried desperately to get in, but only a fortunate portion of those people got admitted to the show. Back during SXSW Kanye still hadn't performed much since releasing MBDTF, making the show an extra hot ticket. Months later, Vevo, who sponsored the show, released some hi-def video from the show.

Above is Kanye's "Dark Fantasy." Below is Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness”, Big Sean’s “My Last”, followed by more Kanye with “Blame Game” (one of the few times he's ever performed it thus far), and surprise guest Jay-Z joining in the show-closer, “H.A.M.”

Vevo needs to release video of Kanye doing "All Of The Lights" with that high school marching band though.

Big Sean: "What Goes Around"

Vulture premiered a new single "What Goes Around" from Kanye protege and G.O.O.D. Music artist Big Sean, whose debut album Finally Famous: The Album — preventatively titled in case you forgot it was an album — will be released on Def Jam on June 21.

Kanye West: "All Of The Lights (Remix) ft. Lil' Wayne, Big Sean, & Drake"

The original "All of the Lights" already featured about 10 of the biggest names in music, and then Kanye had to go and recruit Lil' Wayne, Big Sean, and Drake for the remix. And the track is rumored be unfinished, as Kanye himself amongst others have yet to contribute additional verses. Whew. Props to Nah Right.

Does anyone today do the "remix" better than Kanye though? Being the perfectionist that he is, I'm sure it took hours for Kanye to make all the changes to the beat that he did. His remixes are more than just the original track with some extra guest verses tacked on. He literally re-mixes the entire track from scratch. As if the original "All of the Lights" wasn't crazy enough. Bravo.

Big Sean: "Hometown" (Video)

I can never decide if I think Big Sean is worth a damn or not. Sometimes he can be pretty great ("Don't Look Down"), but he's put out some worthless material too ("What U Doin?"). Minus recycling the Kat Stacks line from "See Me Now," I think this song is pretty good; hopefully he can keep it together for his debut album, Finally Famous.

Kanye West: "Christmas in Harlem ft. Teyana Taylor, Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Pusha T, Big Sean, & Cyhi the Prynce)

One last Christmas post, and it's quite fitting. I realized I never re-posted "Christmas in Harlem" once Kanye officially released it as a GOOD Friday track. It's likely the last song we get from Kanye West this year, and what a year it's been. Enough said. Merry Christmas.

Kanye West: "Looking For Trouble ft. Pusha T, Cyhi The Prynce, Big Sean & J. Cole"

Last weekend's GOOD Friday track, and it's another great one. Sorry for the delay, I was in Chicago all weekend without my computer.

Kanye West: "Don't Look Down ft. Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def & Big Sean"

Please don't let GOOD Fridays end once Kanye comes out with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (which is also now available for preorder on iTunes). Here's another killer treat from the Chicago artist. Enjoy your weekend!

Big Sean: Finally Famous, Vol. 3 (Mixtape)

The third mixtape in G.O.O.D. Music artist Big Sean's Finally Famous series is here. Perhaps he'll get a little more famous if he puts out an album. Who knows? Maybe it'll even be half-decent.

Big Sean: "What You Doin? (Bullshiting)"

Here is the disappointing lead single to Big Sean's debut album, Finally Famous. I feel like I've heard this beat hundreds of times before. On top of that, the rapping on this track is worthless. His expression on the single's artwork says it all. I don't know what he was thinking with this track, and maybe he doesn't either. Let's he had some better ideas for the rest of the album.

Big Sean: "Million Dollars" (Music Video)

Big Sean can be a very hit or miss artist with me, but I enjoy this song quite a bit. Sean's upcoming album, Finally Famous, currently is suffering from the all too common problem of having no release date.

Consequence: "Whatever You Want (Remix) ft. Kanye West, Common Kid Cudi, & Big Sean"

Props to the New Music Cartel on this one. Now I'm stepping away from the internet for a while to get some work done.

Big Sean: "Getcha Some" (Music Video)

Off of G.O.O.D. Music rapper's UKNOWBIGSEAN mixtape. Also, scheduled to be on his upcoming debut album, Finally Famous. I do know one more thing: rappers need to stop using the "fresh like I'm wrapper in plastic" line.

Big Sean: Fab5Ent.com Interview (Video)

Seriously, Big Sean does more interviews than anyone. So, I try to be selective with posting them, but this one had some actual production value, so it gets the go ahead.

Big Sean: MTV Mixtape Daily (Video) + Guest spot on Wale's "Wonder Why"

Sorry for my entire absence today. I woke up on my living room couch at 6:30am extremely hungover (ouch!), and was pretty much occupied with other tasks from then on. Now, I'm back to give a quick blow-by-blow of what you all missed today — if you only checked Midwest Broadcast, that is.

In this MTV segment, Big Sean recounts his first encounter with Kanye West, and how he ended up getting signed. Pretty cool story. And as a bonus, I included a new Wale song featuring Big Sean and Mike Posner (Produced by 9th Wonder) at the bottom of the post.

Big Sean: "Glenwood ft. Kanye West"

This is the first single/leak off of Big Sean's debut LP, Finally Famous. Props to Rap Radar.

Big Sean: Who Is Big Sean? (Video)

Journalist Danielle Wright did a segment featuring Big Sean, which provides some interview and performance footage, as well as some insight into how the G.O.O.D. Music artist's career has evolved since signing with the label. Via the G.O.O.D. Music blog.
