Kanye West: "Power ft. Dwele"

Kanye's lead single to Good Ass Job just leaked. It's terrific.

Kid Cudi: "All Talk ft. Chip The Ripper"

Cudi and Chip did some rapping over "Dance Yrself Clean", arguably the best track off LCD Soundsystem's album This Is Happening.

Kristoff Krane: 'Hunting For Father' Album Release Show

Maria Isa: "Lowrider Mamis (Caddy, Lincoln, Chevys)" (Music Video)

My sincere apologies for the extreme lack of posts lately. Frankly, I've been busy. Just graduated from college. Now, I've been preparing to venture to South Africa for World Cup 2010. I depart in a little over 2 weeks, and might not have much time to post in that time. Of course, the site will be temporarily down while I'm away, too. I'll provide more details before I leave.

In the meantime, enjoy this new video for Maria Isa's latest single.

Big Sean: "What You Doin? (Bullshiting)"

Here is the disappointing lead single to Big Sean's debut album, Finally Famous. I feel like I've heard this beat hundreds of times before. On top of that, the rapping on this track is worthless. His expression on the single's artwork says it all. I don't know what he was thinking with this track, and maybe he doesn't either. Let's he had some better ideas for the rest of the album.

Grieves & Budo: Felt 3 Remixes

Slug and Murs gave away the a cappellas to Felt 3: A Tribute To Rosie Perez. Grieves and Budo made beats. Hence, Grieves & Budo: Felt 3 Remixes.

Kristoff Krane: 'Picking Flowers Next To Roadkill' Album Release Show

I was only going to include the above image, but they're both just too darn nifty. Kristoff has put together two albums, the first of which he will be putting on a release party for this weekend. The Hunting For Father album release is later on in the month, and I'll be sure to write a post about that when it's drawing nearer.

Tree City: "Say It Again"

The always dope 5-man group from Ann Arbor, Tree City, just came out with a new song. This is from their upcoming project, Thus Far.

Paper Tiger: "Get Cryphy" 20 Minute Mix

In the spirit of Get Cryphy, this is definitely Paper Tiger's wildest mix yet.

Most Official: Revenge of the Boom Bap (Mixtape)

Minnesota's import from Michigan, Most Official, has been posted up on this site a few times before. The former loud.com competition finalist doesn't release music at a breakneck pace, and the effort he puts into his music shows. Here's another mixtape featuring him rapping over all DJ Premier beats. Featuring guest appearance from Knonam, St. Paul Slim, and Muja Messiah.

Trama: "You All Suck... No Really"

Here's another one off Trama's UnaTrama mixtape. Trama recently gave it away for free at Fifth Element, but now he's getting bootlegged on eBay!

Jordan Looney: 'Nerd-Hop, Vol. 3: Side A' (Mixtape)

Jordan Looney's third installment in his Nerd-Hop series is here after much anticipation. Speaking of Nerd-Hop, I'm grinding out my final week of my undergraduate years in college. Ever. What's more Nerd-Hop than that? Either way, this is hands down Looney's best work to date. Props to the young man for putting together a very solid product. Give it a listen.

Brother Ali Speaks on Touring, Performing with Justin Timberlake (Video)

When I jumped on this news back in early January, it quickly became one of my favorite Brother Ali stories.

Danami: "Life Is Good ft. IvyE"

Danami is heading a show at Sauce in Uptown Minneapolis on Wednesday May 12. Danami himself played piano on this song, while the rest of the production was handled by Detroit's Big Soj.

Lupe Fiasco: Steppin Laser Tour 2010 (Video)

Here are a some neat images from Lupe Fiasco's recent tour. Lupe's one of the best live performers in hip-hop, and if you ever get the chance to see him, I highly recommend you do so.

Jordan Looney: "Perspective"

Jordan Looney's Nerd-Hop, Vol. 3 will be released on May 10. Here's a new single from that project. Looney truly stepped his game up with this release. Production is much more polished (this particular song was done by New York producer L.HO), and his songwriting has improved. The rapper has built a solid fan base from the ground up, and is someone to look out for in the future.

  • Atmosphere will be releasing a new EP to coincide with that book.
  • Slug talked about both of these projects on a recent episode of Rhymesayers Radio.

Nametag: "Another Other" (Prod. Black Milk)

Here's the lead single from Detroit artist Nametag's upcoming debut LP The Name is Tag. The album will be released sometime this summer, and boasts plenty of Black Milk production, so it will surely knock.
