Ecid: "Back From Japan" (Music Video)

Here is the music video for Ecid's self-produced "Back From Japan," off his upcoming Werewolf Hologram LP, due on February 28. Ecid follows his pattern of utilizing obscure samples and blending them with more traditional hip-hop elements. On this track, he sampled a Japanese psych-rock band and layered it over a more straightforward drum pattern, eliciting a gloomy feel. Interestingly enough, Ecid created the beat the day before the tsunami natural disaster in Japan, which influenced the lyrical content of the song.
