Master Mind: Watch Me Fly

I teased Master Mind's somewhat mysterious forthcoming mixtape last week. Today he leaked what seem to be a collection of assorted songs, which Master Mind is calling Watch Me Fly, to help spread the word about that mixtape. These tracks uphold Master Mind's reputation as an excellent lyricist. Producers on these songs include St. Paul Slim, Vibez, and Reggie Reg. Stream them all below.

Master Mind is DenMark Vesey: ICFS, Vol. 1 Mixtape Preview

St. Paul rapper Master Mind has been working in the local scene for years now, perhaps best known for his collaborations with Heiruspecs and St. Paul Slim. His upcoming project is a bit mysterious outside of what I can parse together from this video, so I must admit this is all a bit speculative. However, it seems that his upcoming mixtape, ICFS, Vol. 1 (which stands for "I Can't Feel Shit") finds Master Mind adopting the persona of a character named DenMark Vesey, who has some serious demons that he needs to exorcise. This hard-hitting new track from St. Paul's own, Master Mind, is the first leak from his upcoming project, Watch Me Fly, to be released on T.A.R. Inc. In case you are curious, it samples "Icky Thump," by The White Stripes.
